Good to know

What does the standard pathway ask?
A primary qualification in medicine and surgery recognised by the AMC and the World Directory, a completed internship or comparable (otherwise an accredited internship position in Australia), the AMC CAT MCQ passed before applying, then the AMC clinical examination (before or after registration) or a workplace-based assessment after registration; limited or provisional registration, then general registration after 12 months of supervised practice.
Can I do a workplace-based assessment instead of the clinical exam?
Yes. Pass the AMC clinical examination or complete workplace-based assessment; the workplace-based assessment is done after registration.
How is my degree verified?
Apply to the AMC for verification of the primary (and any specialist) qualification, which uses ECFMG's EPIC through a MyIntealth account.
When are the Medical Board's fees due?
Both the application fee and the registration fee are due when you apply.
