Gulf DataFlow steps name what each doctor verifies, Oman's OEN pass mark, and Ontario's 2027 fees

A General Practitioner's DataFlow step in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman no longer asks for a specialty certificate; specialists and consultants still verify theirs. OMSB's April 2026 booklet sets the OEN's pass mark at 60%, and the College of Nurses of Ontario's 2027 fees (CAD 513.02 to apply, CAD 47.46 for the jurisprudence exam) are named beside 2026's.

What it means for you

The Gulf (doctors)

The DataFlow step read "Primary source verification of your degree, specialty certificate, home registration and experience" on every doctor route, so a General Practitioner was asked to verify a certificate they do not hold. The regulators' own documents name educational qualifications, professional licences and experience certificates (the UAE's PQR 1.4, NHRA's PQR 1.4, DataFlow's DHP and SCFHS packages, Oman's procedure). The General Practitioner routes in the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman now read "your medical degree, home licence and experience"; the Specialist and Consultant routes there and in Bahrain add the specialty certificate, and Saudi Arabia's Registrar route the postgraduate qualification. Fees, timing and verdicts do not change.

Oman (nurses)

OMSB's exam page now links an April 2026 booklet for the Omani Examination for Nurses (OEN) for nurses with a bachelor's degree. Its fee (USD 200), 100 questions and two and a half hours are as before; it adds a passing score of 60%, which the exam step now names beside the OEN-Diploma's 50%.

Canada (nurses)

The College of Nurses of Ontario's fee table sets its 2027 fees: the application rises from CAD 489.29 to CAD 513.02 with HST, the jurisprudence exam from CAD 45.20 to CAD 47.46, and initial registration from CAD 69 to CAD 72, from 1 January 2027. The steps name both years.
