What it means for you
For the GMC, two IELTS or OET sittings never combine and only your most recent sitting counts, apart from one IELTS One Skill Retake. DHA's own exam fees are now on the UAE plans, and Australia's NCLEX-RN step shows USD 200 plus USD 150 and the rise on 1 February 2027.
United Arab Emirates (DHA)
DHA's CBT guideline (September 2026) prices its exams, and the plan now shows them. Registered Nurse and Assistant Nurse: USD 240, 150 questions in three hours, pass score 50%. General Practice: USD 280, 150 questions in three hours, pass score 60%. Every listed Specialist and Consultant exam: USD 280. Pharmacist: USD 240, pass score 60%. General Dentist: USD 280, pass score 60%. DHA posts a pass or a fail and does not share the score. Specialties it does not list are assessed orally, at their own fee.
United Kingdom (GMC)
The GMC accepts IELTS and OET scores only from the same test and from your most recent sitting, read again on 2 November 2026. The plan used to combine your best part from two sittings taken within two months. It no longer does. A later sitting below the bar now replaces an earlier pass. The one exception is IELTS: if a single part of an IELTS on computer test missed 7.0, one One Skill Retake of that part within 60 days completes it. When you add the retake, the plan takes the overall from its report. OET has no retake for the GMC.
Australia (NMBA, NCLEX-RN)
NCSBN charges candidates for Australian licensure USD 200 to register plus a USD 150 international scheduling fee. That fee applies at every test centre outside the United States, Australia's included, so the total stays USD 350. For registrations from 1 February 2027 the registration fee is USD 350, which makes USD 500 in all. The date you register decides the fee, not the date you sit.
