What it means for you

Can I still apply for a UK job if my country is on the red list?
Yes. The lists do not prevent individuals from applying to UK employers of their own accord, without being targeted by a recruitment agency or employer.
What does the UK's agreement with the Philippines change?
The agreement covers nurses and some allied health professionals; an employer planning to hire more than five Philippine staff must be accredited and partner with a Philippine recruitment agency, or a UK foreign placement agency.
